We didn’t run into any major costly issues; however, we did have to replace the floor in the kitchen because of some rotten floor joists. Christmas is coming, and we know that work will slow down a bit over the holiday, but my contractor promised that everything would get back to normal on December 26. The weather has been a friend to us so far this Autumn, and since most of the work is inside there isn’t too much of a problem with this. We do have some painting that needs done on the detached garage. The rehab of the garage will be substantially complete, though, before really cold weather hits on Friday.
I can’t wait for my next blog where I show you pictures of painted walls, floor tile, and cabinetry! After this week, we should only have fixtures, such as lights, towel racks, and other items such as this to do. We should be ready to list by the first of the year.
