What kind of car are they driving? Are they organized? Do they listen to you? Did they come prepared with thoughtful questions? After meeting with them, you will get a better feel for who they are and if they are legitimate.
Once you decide on an investor, walk through the house with them and have them discuss with you all the attributes of your home. In addition, walk through all the major issues that you might be wrestling with in your house. Find out if the investor is willing to buy the home whether it is cleaned out or not. Find out from them if that will hurt the value or not. Be prepared to be honest about your situation so that they can help you sell your house fast.
A caring investor will buy your home and close very quickly. They will be respectful of your situation with no judgment. We have all had our situations in life that cause us to act a certain way.
